Markers moving one frame out of position

I have a file with about thirty subsections, all delineated by markers at their first frame. When I either insert or split & delete another file ahead of them in the timeline, all the markers become out of position by one frame.

I have post edit ripple mode engaged and selected for 'all tracks , markers, and regions' and I also have 'quantize to frames' selcted.

I don't want to have to go and shift 30 plus markers by one frame each. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong please folks?

I got this error when I changed a 29.97 project to 23.97 because all of the frames did not Quantize correctly.

Was quantize to frames turned ON when you placed the video on the timeline?

Ah! Good question Dave. I started the project a few days ago so I honestly can't recall. However, I'll modify the toolbar so it's always vsisible and keep an eye on that for future, making sure it's always on.
