Everytime I try to save markers on a clip I get an error message saying that I cannot save markers because the file is either read only or it is in use with another application. On my system, neither of those are happening. Anyway, a solution for those of you who don't care if the markers get saved or not, if what you need is simply to create your scene selection menu, then double click on your video so it opens in the timeline, insert your markers and in out points, click save markers, press ok out of error message, then insert your scene selection menu into your project. It works fine. Little chapters are created according to your settings. I was under the impression that the markers had to be saved in order to create scene selection menu. Not the case.
