Markers within the MediaPool

Is it possible to obtain marker info within files located in the mediapool via the API? I don't see anything in the documentation. I see markers associated with the project timeline, but nothing for a media element within the mediapool.

No. In fact, if you have embedded markers (that appear as the small lines on the clips on the timeline) then you can't even access them from the timeline. You CAN load, modify, and save them in the Trimmer but not via the scripting API.

Do you think there is anyway to get the marker info out of the .sfk or .sfl files directly? This seem to be where the info is stored, though in binary form.

Seems too time consuming if we can't automate the inclusion of media to the timeline.
