Mask_Select Points

I know I can select all, but is there a way to drag Select a range of Points?

Tons of extra work caused by having to shift select many points to make a mask that moves over time.

There isn't a means of selecting more than two adjoined points or all points that I'm aware of. Would be nice to be able to "draw" a range like you can with the selection tools on the timeline though.
To select two adjoining points, hover between them. To select All of them, hold the ALT key down and click on a point.
