mask wierdness

In addition to the text issues everyone has discussed I am also having a problem with masks. Combining a mask with a moving still clip causes the image to tear in half. I've been doing this for years with no problem and now it does not work.

This is in 9.0 since I abandoned 9.0a as soon as it corrupted an hour's worth of titles.

Anyone else having mask issues?

I had a project with masks in 9.0 and 9.0a

Sometimes on opening the project the underlaying video broke up into big black blocks that looked just like large DV dropouts.

Sometimes it didn't.

I reported this to support about 2 weeks after 9.0 came out.
No fix in 9.0a.

Thanks for confirming that. It sounds like a version of the same issue I'm having. I'll add my voice to it and see if it gets addressed.
