Masked Sections?

I am using VMS8. Is there any way to set just a section of a track to "multiply (mask)" instead of "source alpha" without affecting the entire track?

You need the "mask" feature in the pan/crop window, a feature that doesn't exist in VMS. You need Vegas Pro for that.

Yes, most of them work.

place a solid color white panel in your alpha channel run for entire leng that you need
So on your top level which is your alpha chanel multiplied place your white panel after your multiplied pic
On your second level leave as normal
