Masking tool in event/crop fx not working? (Sony Vegas pro 15)

I have masked a picture I want but the background is still not disappearing....

 

is is there any solution? I got it to work before but I don't remember how

Turn the mask on. (see checkbox beside work "mask")

So Iam currently using Move Studio 14 and there is no Mask Box insight for me to check off..?

See your post in the Movie Studio section. It's not available in VMS. It's a Pro version only function.
