Mass Edit Clip Length

Hey folks. Putting together a slide show and I want to mass edit the length of the clips already on the timeline. from say 4 secs to 2. how do you do this??

Click the first image, shift+click the last one, press G to "group" them together, place your cursor at the end of the last image, hold down the Ctrl button (icon now has a ~ under it) and drag everything backwards to the new desired length.

Thanks for the info Mike, but I still must be doing something wrong. I get the new icon, but it still only manipulated the size of one event. what am i missing? I even "group" by right clicking the events and selecting the grouping feature...

Uncheck "Ignore Event Grouping"
