Master video in & out points

Hello I am having a problem with in & out points.
I have placed my main video linked to a button and I have set up 3 other buttons that I want to grab sections of the main video and link them to their buttons.
It appears that I can only link to one of the other buttons. When I try to set up in & out points for the other buttons I lose the in and out points from my first button.

Can someone help me figure out what I need to do to get this done?

Thanks
Randy

Add the video to your Menu. Then copy/paste the thumbnail to the menu (a new thumbnail will appear). You can then modify the In/Out points for the new thumbnail. Repeat as needed (don't worry, DVDA will be smart enough to only include the video asset ONCE in the finished DVD -- not using up more space as you add additional "Chapters" of the video).

I'm still not getting this.
I have my main video on page 1 which also has a link to a selection menu. This is where I have my other buttons that I want to grab sections from the main video on menu 1.
I have copied the main video on menu 1 and pasted it onto menu 2 which gives me an empty button, I then set my in & out points. The new button works fine only capturing the in and out points that I set. The problem I'm getting is that when I try to set in & out points on the other pasted empty buttons the in & out points that I set on the first button are still there not allowing me to add new points

From Explorer, Drag the video to your menu2, then Copy/Paste from Menu2 to Menu2 (repeat for each section).

There's probably other ways to do this, but that seemed to work here...
