match zooming on different tracks

Am working on Vegas Pro 9 - and trying to zoom 4 different tracks at the same rate.
One track is a background still picture with a frame area for a title -
the other 3 tracks each have a word on them (a jpeg).

I 'm trying to zoom all of them at the same rate so it will look like I am zooming in on the whole thing smoothly.

Does it make a difference to use the Pan/crop on each picture - or the track motion feature?

And - are there any setting to keep each picture or track in the same perspective in relation to one another?

A little more info - each jpeg had to start with a little different size . . .ie the people's names are large and the '& ' is smaller. So I'm not starting with the same size. I used the track motion to size each jpeg to fit my work area . . .
Maybe there is no easy answer?????

Probably the easiest way is to insert a new video track above all the others you want to zoom.

Then make the tracks below the one you just added 'children' of the topmost track by clicking the downward pointing arrow in the track header 'make compositing child'.

On the parent track, click on the 'parent motion' button - leftmost part of track header , looks just like the track motion button for the track - and set up your zoom.

Now all the 'children' will zoom at exactly the same rate as the 'parent' track.
