Matching multiple images to audio length automatically

I am a photographer and I would like to make a slide show with 120 images set to a song length of 5.44.29... How can I (if possible) make the slides fit to the music? I have used other programs (not as extensive) that let you set the time and the program sets the display time. Will this do this?

Thanks,

Al

Assuming you're not worried about having specific different lengths for each image, you can do this:

- place all the images on the timeline at the default length
- select all of the images (right-mouse button click on the first image and choose Select events to end)
- press G to group them together
- Ctrl-drag the end of the last image to stretch/shrink the total time for all images

This will adjust the length of all the images at the same time. Move the end of the last picture to the left to shorten the durations or to the right to lengthen them. It's easy this way to drag the whole group to whatever length you want.

You will only be able to squeeze to 1/4x or stretch to 4x the default length this way, but this gives you a range of 1.25 to 20 seconds for each image and your target duration will probably be somewhere in this range.
