matrox 2500 problems

I am having problems getting my Camera to talk with vegas now that I'm using the Matrox 2500

Is it a settings issue?

The video capture won't "acknowledge" my camera - when I go to print to DV tape it says my camera isn't connected

Vegas won't utilize the Matrox card. You can capture with the Matrox capture tool, edit in Vegas, then print back using the Matrox card, but the Matrox card and Vegas share no drivers, no communication. You need an OHCI (Open Host Controller Interface) to get Vegas to speak to anything digitally. ADS Pyro, SIIG, Unibrain all can live right next to the Matrox.
