Yes. I use it with dual monitors (not in the stretch mode) with the timelines on the main monitor and all of the other stuff on the second monitor. (FX, Transistions, Media , Sound, etc. I also use the TV output to my distribution system so when I preview render or look at a DVD or media player I see the results on the TV and the media player at the same time. Then when editing switch back to the firewire to the TV for previewing. When you go to the media player Vegas cuts off the firewire output to the TV. It works slicker than camel snot on a doorknob.

Thanks for your response. What do you know about Matrox Capture Cards? Check out the Matrox RT.100 Xreme Pro Bundle. This is the kind of functionality I am looking for with my next system build...

The Matrox RT.100 does not support Vegas. It is hardware acceleration that only works with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Hey JJK,
Which model Parhelia do you use in your setup?
Thanks,
Tom

Iuse the Parhelia128 meg memory with 400 meg DAC--($375.00) and the latest drivers. I don't use the preview window but I still have it on the secondary monitor in case I need a still or split window. If I load up a clip with two or more FX's or long pan's it will start to flicker on the TV monitor. P4-2.8 with Hyperthreading on and 1gig memory, XP pro.
