What results do you expect ? Video card doesn't have a big impact on Vegas performances...

Nat - I think he is asking does it work/compadable with Vegas... I'm pretty sure the answer is NO - Vegas doesn't send preview out through the Parhelia to NTSC monitor.

I think he is inquiring about the cards performance with three output devices attached to it-----

I'm sorry I was unclear in my post.

I am interested in the compatibility with Vegas. I would like the preview to go out to the NTSC monitor instead of running it from the DV deck output.

Thanks for the quick responses

Nope. I don't think so...

Unfortunately, you can't. NTSC output from Vegas is firewire only. It's one of the very few problems that I think Vegas has. And unfortunately for all the professional tools that Vegas offers, I think that is a significant detriment to the program's acceptance in the "pro" world.

SoFo, what are the chances of getting full support for this fine card? I was looking at it for a purchase in a few months, and am disappointed that such a good card isn't supported fully.

i use one and they are great but the color from the graphic card may be slightly different that what is out of the DV and printed to tape .. a drawback to using the NTSC monitor out on the card (if you could) ... you can do this with other apps -- but i dont for this reason ..
