MC encoding options

Does the MainConcept MPEG Encoder have an option to encode 2-Pass VBR? If so, how is that feature accessed? Thanks.

No, only one pass VBR at present. MainConcept is talking about multi-pass VBR in a future version. Even then, they've said it will only be in their standalone product at first--followed later at some point in the plug-in version.

Thanks. I'm going to use TMPGEnc Plus. Hopefully MC will add multi-pass VBR at some point. It is a long encode but very useful on some clips.
