Hi rpatel,

If you capture separate clips using batch capture, you can drag the into the timeline as a group with a pre-defined duration crossfade between all of them.


I assume you mean 30 frame crossfades, not 30 sec.... but you could do it if you wished.

thank you for the information, can u please elaborate on the idea that you have above. In terms of when i group them, before dragging onto the timeline, what should i do so i can achieve the 30 FRAMES crossfade.

Hi rpatel,

You might try using Options>Preferences>Editing to designate an automatic overlap for dragging multiple event to the timeline.

You can then select many items in the Vegas explorer or Media Pool and drag them to the timeline with automatically overlapping crossfades.
