Media Bin Missing files

I saved my Vegas 8 file last night and all the media that has not been used is no longer under the project media Tab. I opened the one saved before that and it is there. How do I get the media been to show all the files again as in the previous save? All file are there in the folder just not when I open my latest file. Also, under the details the time-code info is gone.

I saved my Vegas 8 file last night and all the media that has not been used is no longer under the project media Tab.Sounds like you "hit" the Lighting bolt Icon, which removes unused media.

Is there a way to import the media bin into this project. Like l said before, it is in the earlier project.

This will do it:
1)Open the earlier project (where the media bin is still intact).
2)Open the last project (where items are missing) in a second instance of Vegas.
3)In last project do CTRL+A in the timeline and delete all.
4)In earlier project do CTRL+A and copy all
5)In last project do paste from upper left corner of the time line.
Now you have transferred your latest edits to the project which still has a full media bin.

I ended up doing that. Sometimes when I do it that way, not all setting transfer. I can find anything missing yet.
