Media Bins.?

What are they for exactly?

i thought that they were for creating something lika a "favourites" folders for sounds or something but apparently not.

Can someone explain please.?

All of the media you use in a project are kept in the media bin for that project. You can add media there before you begin editing to make it easier to find than having to explore over several hard drives and/or directories.

what I'd like, is to be able to route tracks to media bins... I.E. tracks 1-8 go to my drums media bin.

would keep everything tidy!
