This has brought me to a dead stop.
I'm on my third render of a 45 minute movie. During the first render, there were some artifacts, but I got the whole thing. During renders 2 and 3, certain portions of the movie simply went black during the render. That is, the final movie has gaps of black where there should be rendered frames from the clips. In the second render, this happened with clips very early in the movie. During the third render, this happened with clips very late in the movie.
I have about 30 hours into rendering now and still don't have a usable product.
I am rendering uncompressed video to xvid, which has worked great with single scenes from the movie. I have not had any real problems until trying to render the final complete movie.
Why is this happening and how do I get my movie to render succesfully? I know this is a wide question, but it is a fair one. i have used this product for almost a year, have dozens of renders under my belt and know what I'm doing.
Without being able to render the final movie, my work is for naught. All 11 months of it.
