I'm trying to figure out a fielding issue.
I put an uncompressed MOV on the timeline and tell it to use Upper Fields First.
I put either the same MOV - or another after that and tell it to be Lower Fields First.
I repeat the process and have it be Progressive.
Then, I look back at the previous MOV and all have changed to be the same thing I told the last MOV to be. So now (in this case) they're all Progressive.
Can't I have each clip be different?

Vegas sets the field properties by clip, not by event, which is probably a good thing in most cases. If you want the field properties to be different for different events from the same clip then you'll have to make multiple physical copies of that clip.
