Media FX not transffered to video event

Long story short.

I cannot select several Media files and apply FX to them at once, I have to do it separately for them, I cannot even copyt FX from one and paste to the other.

And when the media I added FX are transffered to the timeline and they become Video Events, the FX applied to media doesn't show there and in Video Event FX there is no FX set...

So when creating multicamera track, the Video Event FX are lost and after cutting it up all the parts from one videofile need to have FX applied to every little bit one after another manually instead of just applying it to thole Media file and being used during entire workflow.

Seriously, what's happening that MEdia FX is not in the Video Event?

I don't know about the first part of your problem, but yes, when you create a multicamera track, all effx are deleted. You need to add effx after you create the multitrack. That is just a quirk of Vegas.

Actually when I deleted video tracks from timeline and added media back to the timeline the Media FX was applied, good thing I kept notes about synchronization timcode for each shot.

But how to add Pan/Crop to the Media rather than Video Event?

Pan Crop is an event effect.

So I will have to apply it to every single cut video event after multicamera editing...
Because let's not make people's lives a little bit easier...

Can it be done as Track FX?

Depends what you want to do with Pan/Crop, if you can do it also with trackmotion, that's the tool I use in that case.

I want to pan/crop the entire video track made up of 4 video events from the same stationary recording device that made 4 files rather than one, beucase of file size limit. Simple trimming to be applied through the whole length of the take.
