media manager adds all clips - help

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to V6.d and thought I'd give media manager a go. I've done a couple big (for me - 8 tapes worth) projects with the media bins, and was ready for something better... I really like Media Manager a lot... except...

I created a new library for this project. Good. Tagged my clips. Awesome. Opened one of my old projects to find something... and Media Manager has added all those clips to the list and now it's a bit overwhelming...
1. I assumed I could select the audio and video tags and select the "do not match" option up by the "Match All" drop down... and then remove them from the library... no such luck... everything shows up. Any ideas?
2. There must be a simple way of not scanning all the clips every time I open a new project. Anybody?

Thanks for any help... I'm now under a mountain. Still positive, but a little worried...

oops.. just figured out the answer to #1: Select Audio and Video, the "do not match" thing, and in the drop down "Match Any" and it has shown all the clips I just added, so I can remove them. Great.

Any help with #2? ie. not adding all clips when I open a different file?
