Media Manager comments vs Project med comment

I have only just started to use the media manager recently.
And Maybe i am doing something wrong or dont know haw to do it. Or mybe it just cant be done....
For many of my projects after I have gone thru the scene splitting and conversion to CFDI (HDV projects here). I would then add all my clips into the project media. then under the detailed view i would go down each clip and add a short comment to the clip.
Each clips name is basicly tape name and time code start from orig m2t clip.
this way I would know what each clip contains at a quick glance.

Now I've started to use the media manager on this project because much of the footage I shot I want to retain for stock footage in other projects.
What i have noticed is that the comments I place in the clip properties window in the media manager will not show up in the project media window detailed view or visa versa.

Is there no correlation to these two, any of the fields: ie comments, rating, etc.?

There is no correlation between the two. The Media Manager is a database that is independent of the Vegas media pool. This is a great idea for a feature request but right now, the media pool does not pick up any properties from the media manager.
