Media Manager problem

I've been humming along happily with Media Manager in Vegas 10e 64bit and neglected to back up a large library of 2500 clips with about 100 custom tags. Vegas crashed last night and now the library will not open. Are there any auto back ups? Is all lost?

I've had similar problem with Media Manager. Try this and let me know if it works for you - use Windows Explorer to rename the "damaged" library file. Then see if Vegas will open it. It has every time for me so far.

EDIT: Oops, I think I copied it to a new name, not rename the original.

Tried it and still have the same problem. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Marc, I'm shooting from the hip but try these:

1) If you have an older version of Vegas see if it will open the library.

2) Try temporarily moving the clips that are referenced in the library to a different location and then see if you can open the library. If you can MM will alert you that the media is offline.

3) If these fail, send the database to SCS and see if they can/will repair it.
