Media of AVI file doesn't appears

Hey all

When I drag the AVI file to the timeline, it only shows the AUDIO, but not the images.

Here what appears:
Video: Stream attributes could not be determined
Audio: 8,000 kHz; 4 Bit; Mono

I'm using Vegas 5.0.

Anyobody had this problem too?

Where'd you get the AVI? My guess is it's either a DivX AVI or it's from a still camera that happens to make videos and uses an MJPEG codec. You need to have the right codecs not only to play, but also to edit these files.
