Yes I have. I just use the explorer window. Sometimes you have to refresh it in order to get newer files to appear. I've never had a problem with the explorer window.

Still having problems with media pool! Seems like I can only load about 80-100 events before things go wacky. Files don't show up, and some of the names of others look corrupted. They appear in the thumbnail and list views, but not the Detail view, which is what I need the most. I start a new .veg file and load all events into it in an effort to start "fresh," but the same thing happens? I can't really use the explorer window because it doesn't give me the info I need. Anyone have any ideas? I just installed 3.0c bld 138, but still have the problem.

Also, the auto preview mode doesn't work anymore. The file opens in teh preview window for about 1/2 second and then disappears? Help! Please! Thanks.

Has anyone ever found the answer to this question? It happens here too and drives me crazy. A known bug?

How much RAM do you have?
what OS?
are the files on a network or 1394 drive?

As a quick test, I just opened 1,300 DV files in the 3.0c media pool- took awhile but once they are in the pool is still very responsive in both text and thumbnail view. (fyi this is with Win2k, 512 RAM, 7200 ide drives)

Let me add my problem. I have 2.0 P4 with 512. I import 17-20 DV clips into the Media Pool and start editing. Soon, after about 8 or 9 edits, when I bring up a fresh, new clip to the timeline, it comes up with all the edited material previously done in the timeline at the very head of the clip!! Pray tell, what now?

This has happend with my last three edits. Should I re-boot?
