4.0d is the current version but nothing changed that will impact this issue. What source format are you trying to bring into the media pool? Are these really huge files?

Just a curious experiment for you to try: load only JPEGs and see if you still have the same problem.

I tried importing 290 1440x960 jpgs (compression 8 in Photoshop) into the media pool.
Vegas 4.0c imported only the first 85.

When I import about 10 at a time i was able to put 110 in.

Any ideas?

Do you think it might help? I'm o/w happy with 4.0c and there seem to be some problems with 4.0d...This is getting really annoying and no one here seems to have the answer. I can kludge around it by cutting and pasting from another VV4 instance, but I shouldnt have to...
