Media pool lock to grid...

...for lack of a better term.
When I try to scroll to the end of a clip's path it jumps to the next attribute...is there a way to turn this off where it will scoll smoothly. I realize I can hover over the clip to get the full path but it's a PIA when there are a lot of clips.
Thanks,
Randy

Yeah . .I can see it jumping a "field" at a time. Have you expanded the PATH field so that it occupies a whole Media Pool window? Depending on your reso, that's pretty long?

Since I've lost the use of Media Manager I'm using "Explore Containing Folder". And then I get a MS Explorer view of my media along with BIG paths and I can go as wide as I want.

Sorry - not much help huh?

Grazie

You can also relocate the PATH field. Just grab right-click hold on the word PATH and drag it to the place you want it and then release the column. For my own ease of use, I've often re-ordered these fields.

Thanks Grazie,
I'm still using V5 and the right-click drag doesn't do anything. But you did make me realize I can just extend the media pool over enough to where I can grab one of the vertical bars to extend the path.
Thanks again Grazie,
Randy

"I'm still using V5 and the right-click drag doesn't do anything. " - oops, sorry!

Not sure with V5, but you don't need to drag out the field - you can just double click on the tiny vertical field seperator, and the column will automatically E - X - P - A - N - D to the l o n g e s t path - done!

Grazie

Good point Grazie, but that's just it, I can't click on the right-side, vertical bar unless I expand the window first. No biggie...thanks for all of your input my friend.
