Yesterday I'm starting an edit,with vegas 5 ,which required capturing 30 or so clips from 3 tapes,, after capturing clips from tape one I wanted to trim them up and place them on the time line. The clips were showing in the media pool but would not open at all, as if the media was missing. The only way I could open them was to go into windows explorer and drag them to the timeline Not a huge problembut kind of a Pain in the a@#. As I catured tape 2 it started working correctly, all 7 clips showed in the pool and i could open them. Hmmmm.,, Tape 3 went back to having to open in windows exporer for the first clip, but then all the others were ok.

Anyone else run into this mess ?
