Media Pool Question

If I add media to a Vegas project it will be added to the Media Pool. If I later delete the media, it's still listed in the Media Pool. Is there a way for the Media Pool to automatically clear unused media without me pressing the "Lighting Bolt" button?

I've been asking for this for ages. A "delete and removed all unused media" button. Would need several levels of "Are you sure" though.

Tick-box to remove 'unused takes' of otherwise used tracks, as well as totally unused media

Also an "Archive to CD-ROM /DVD-ROM" media pool, with the option to only include 'used media/active takes'.

There is a little button in the media pool that looks like a broom. It removes all unused media from the project. Also "clean media pool" under "tools" does the same thing.
