Media Properties - Universal setting?

I have a DVD Architect Pro 6.0 project with menus and about 85 small clips. I would like to set all of the clips to "reduce interlace flicker" and remove all audio on all clips.

I know how to do this on individual clips but is it possible for a general setting that willl apply this to all clips in that DVD?

Thanks
Trenna

There is no such thing as "DVD Architect Pro 6.0," version 5.x is current. You do your editing in Vegas, not DVD Architect.
There you can mute your audio, copy and paste event attributes, and render one contiguous video file with chapter markers for authoring in Architect.

okay, am using latest version then. I do not want to put all clips in a single line because the people I am editing for find it easier if the video returns to the menu after each clip.
I guess you are right, I will re-render using progressive mpgs at a later date. Now that they are all done, I don't have time for re-rendering so asked the question

What aren't you doing things like Reduce Interlace Flicker and removing audio in Vegas rather than DVD Architect?

Vegas is a video editor. It's equipped to do this sort of thing.

DVD Architect is a disc authoring program, designed to work best with finished video.

well, the option is there so Architect must have thought it might be useful. My problem is all of the videos (and there are several hundred of them) are already converted to MP2....

Guess I'll know more in the future.

Reduce Interlace Flicker, whether in Vegas or Architect, is intended to be used on still images that contain fine horizonal or diagonal lines or patterns.

The usual result on using it with video is that it just makes the picture softer, unnecessarily so.

Deinterlacing for a progressive screen, such as software playback on a computer, should probably be done at the player, not the source.
