Menu

I have a question... What would be the easiest and preferred method to play a copyright clip, rather than rendering it into each media used in a DVDA5 project.

Lets say I have a menu page with 8 button links to 8 different videos. Rather than having a copyright warning rendered into each media referenced by such button, is there a way to have DVDA5 play the same copyright warning media before each media button? That way I will save disk space by not having it rendered 8 times.

Thanks

Well, you could store all of your video clips off in the root directory (the left side of the disc "tree" in your Project Overview window).

Then, rather than having buttons from the menu pages directly to these clips, you could create several Playlists combining the copyright with one of the clips.

If you consider the savings in disc space really worth all of that effort.

Thank you , I did not think about playlists. I don't know if the savings will amount to enough either, I will have to do the math because this project will be a tight one. I have usually just been creating AVCHD on DVD5/9 disks so any space saved is worth talking about.

How about playing the copyright once upon insert and then go to main menu with links to video without the copyright. Is this possible?

You can make your copyright your FIRST PLAY and then make the END action of the copyright be your menu.

Should work fine.
