menu backround music too loud!

Why is the backround music on the title menu for the dvd's, that I made on Sony dvd Architect, so much louder then the music on the music tracks, that I made on Sony Vegas?

Is there a way to make the uadio on the menu quiter?

Load the audio file into Vegas, reduce the volume there, render it to a new audio file. Use this new file behind the menu.
