Menu Based DVDs

I am having problems putting five objects on the main screen. I think I am resizing them so they don't overlap but apparently not. When I put my finished DVD in a player I have to hit the navigate arrows more than once on some objects to get them to play. The DVD I'm trying to make has five separate short videos. I've read the manual but am clearly missing something. Can someone point me to the right page to make menu based DVDs so I can simply navigate to each one without any problems?
Thanks, Bob K.

I'm not sure I follow - the navigation controls do just that, they navigate from one object to another. If you want the object that is currently selected to play then you need to press the enter or select key on your remote.

Hi Scott,

When I add five objects for example I get a highlighted area strecting far and wide over the first object I inseted and ofter this overlaps the object below it.
How do I eliminate or resize that highlighted area? Thanks, Bob Kroeger

it sounds like your media buttons are overlapping. Go to your highlight menu after you click on the media and change the highlight to something other than rectangle or image mask overlay Also what button style are you using and are are you using a mask or a frame mask. If you do just and underline the the underline will be as big as you make the media button So it may stretch into other object areas The simple thing too is just to make your media objects smaller

I think I finally figured this out. Thanks for your suggestions John.
