Menu buttons / DVD start buttons

I'm sorry if I'm calling it the wrong thing, I just a hobbiest. How do I control the look of the start menu. It has a white film over it and then after you hit the play button on preview it becomes clear for a few seconds, and then it begins playing.
Can anyone give me the name of some good documentation (book), I can purchase that is user friendly. Thanks for your time, Mark

Well, you may want to check out my book, "The Muvipix.com Guide to DVD Architect Studio 4.5", available on Amazon.com. Although I've just finished up a book on version 5, which should be available at the end of this month.

You can also check out my free Basic Training tutorials by going to Muvipix.com and typing "DVD Architect" in the product search box.

It's possible you have the Button Masks activated. These are previews of what the highlights will look like when someone navigates your menu.

To turn off these overlay previews, just go the program's View menu, select Workspace Overlays and turn off Show Button Masks.

If that's not it, can you post a screen capture of your menu page so we can see what you're talking about?

Thanks for the information. I will look around and get your book. I was digging around and figured it out on the General tab under "Selected button colors and Activated button colors" were set to colors. I changed to none and the transparances were gone. Thanks I will reg. on Muvipix to at least check out the free stuff. Thanks for your time, Mark

You can take your chances on YouTube also. Just search for DVD Architect.
