menu buttons/links not fading out when menu loops

I have my menu page with two buttons-text only. There is music and an animated (mpeg2) video (57sec long). I have the loop set at the beginning of the track. This part works fine. It starts over but at the end of the video the buttons dont fade with the video . How can I get the buttons to fade out or better yet how do I get the buttons to appear after a few seconds of the menu video? Thanks.

Set Loop Point:
Create your video with buttons fading in. Set the loop point at the
time the buttons are fully visable.

Fading out?
If you have set the loop point the highlights may flash off but will not fade. You can do this by having an intermediate video when you
select the button to fade out.

Other wise it is not normal for the highlights to fade without
using a program such as VOBEDIT but that makes it very hard
to recorrect if you later make changes to the DVD.
