Menu Navigation - almost right

I just made my first DVD, and I'm almost happy with it. It's a concert made up of clips of the individual songs, edited and strung together. So far, so good. I did a nice menu that offers either the entire concert or any of the songs individually. When you choose an individual song, the song plays and then returns to the individual song menu. Nice. But...if you choose an individual song and decide you want to stop it...it just sits there. You have to manually choose Menu to get back to the menu - rather than having it automatically return there the way it does when the song is allowed to run its entire length. Did I miss a step in the menu generation phase? Or is this just a quirk of Architect Studio 2?

How are you stopping the song? if you are using the stop button, then this behavior is expected and is a function of the DVD player, not DVDAS. Pressing the stop button on a DVD player causes the DVD to stop playing.

If I'm playing a clip and want to return to the menu, then I press the menu button; which is what I suspect most people would do as well, since that's the way its supposed to work.

You know...this is going to make me sound like a goof. But, I don't watch DVDs all that much. You're absolutely right. I don't recall other DVDs doing this, now that you mention it. I am wanting the thing to do something that's not typical.
