Menu question

I am putting together a video and 2 slide shows in one DVD. In the menu screen, the graphic for the video and slideshows show a blank (black) screen since they all start with a black fade. How can I replace the blank graphic with pictures?

Click on the thumbnail. Click on the media button on the right-hand top side. In the thumbnail properties section, change the start time to whatever image you want.
