Menu Setup?

Hello:
I am currently working on a project with 8 to 10 individual video media cuts. I have it set up on the menu as text only links. My customer has requested that that the menu text be in a table form. Kind of like an excel spreadsheet. Does anyone know if it is possible to set this up on the main menu page. Also, I am new to this software and need know how to have just a white background on the page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:
Rich

Well, you can certainly swap in any kind of background you want. With stills, you just drag them from the Explorer panel onto your menu page in the Workspace panel.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by an Excel spreadsheet. But if you just want a grid, like a spreadsheet, you can create a 640x480 pixel grid in a program like Photoshop Elements and use that for your background. Then you could use a typeface and layout for your menu buttons that fits with the panels on the grid.

Thanks for the help. I talked them out of tying to have the menu items setup in a table grid, so that worked out. Also, thanks for the help on background colors. I got that right and all is well in the world.
