Mercalli

From a couple of other threads, it's obvious Mercalli CAN work in Vegas Pro 8 but I can't seem to access it. I have the latest version of Mercalli and using windows explorer I can see that the Vegas specific dll is in Vegas' video plugins directory, but I can't see it in the effects list within Vegas.
I am brand new to Vegas but I went with it because it offers native support for my JVC HD7 camera's *.TOD file format. Except for not being able to access Mercalli expert, I love the program! It isn't always 'intuitive' but damn it's fast at editing and previewing!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When you add a Video FX to an event you should see proDAD Mercalli and proDAD VideoShaker in the list. If it is not there I would try and re-install Mercalli. That's where it should show up.

I have prodad Heroglyph, Adorage and Mercalli and I like all three of the products. Mercalli was just what I needed for the work that I do. Now all I need is motion tracking.
