And a Merry Christmas from north of Canada where it is snowing to make it look even more festive! (Detroit is north of Ontario's Sun Parlor).

Ditto from a rainy, dreary Oregon. Snow would be a welcomed change, though I hear they are getting a lot of snow in the eastern part of the US.

Couldn't get used to Christmas down under with lots of heat. My daughter once asked me why people didn't fall off down there. I showed her Velcro.

Mewwy Chwissmas to all (and to those who have been my Vegas gurus over the last 6 years (you know who you are) from just north of Los Angeles, CA USA.

The closing quotation is un-related to the season but the essence of which has been kind of like an inner gyroscope for me, both in real life as well as my throughout my my life online since the late 1990's.

Consider it my teeny weeny cyber Xmas gift :)

Best wishes to all from sunny Perth - forecast 39 degrees today, so snow seems unlikely.

A very merry Christmas to all from Eastern Oregon, where it did snow, and it might snow again on Christmas but the weather man has been known to be wrong from time to time :-) but we still like him anyway ( he puts my video/photos in the air sometimes)

Anyway also have a GREAT next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas (and happy New Year) from another Perth resident! A bit late - we were occupied with eating, drinking and conviviality yesterday!! The (inside) temp only got to 32 (C) - our son doesn't have aircon in the living area yet, so fans were working hard!

We are determined to have a white Christmas one day...

As others have said, many thanks to all here for your collective wisdom and generosity - it has been of immense help!
