Ok, I'm just wondering but I am trying to download the Digital Video Update to install, but microsoft does not work, it will not display the page. I cannot find any other mirror sites to download off of anywhere. I was wondering if other people were having this problem, and if so, do you know of another place to dwnld the file at? I'm just wondering, and I would love for some feedback here. Thanks for your time, Matt

I guess you can say I had a problem with the DV update. When installing the DV update from the Microsoft website, it totally destroyed my Windows 98 registry. I mean totally destroyed. The result, a week on the phone with Dell and a reformatted HD.After installing a new download of the DV update, everything worked fine. Dell suggested it was a corrupted file from MS website. Odd huh? Anyway, BE CAREFUL OF THE DV UPDATE. After all that once everything was reloaded, now my soundcard skips. Oh well.

Microsoft have problems? You guys got to be kidding me? Reminds me of when Bill Gates first introduced Windows 98 and boosted about how it was a much more robust system that didn't lock up, and then immediately went to start a computer to demonstrate and it locked up on the first try.

Another good source for downloading common PC files and drivers is WWW.DOWNLOAD.COM.

At the Microsoft download site find the video update on the list then right click the title and select open then it will take you to the next page to the actual download link

See ya, Rockit
