I've been searching a lot, especially on this board (because I remember a thread a while ago about this same thing...but cant find it!).

anywho, though.... what kind of mics are people using to record their stuff? I do a lot of audio recording, so I have a lot of mic options already - but I'm just wondering what kind of stuff is specifically used in video often - seeing as how recording in a silent studio is a lot different then outside with wind or in a wood floor room...etc.
