I am looking for a way (using track pan and masking) to get a mid disolve effect from a 2 camera shoot. I have a cover shot and a close up of a single performer. What I would like to do is to shift the cover to the left, the close up to the right and have a soft fade between the two. (I know that this is not a real mid disolve, but would be close enough.) When I use parent/child with masking I always get a black bar on one side or the other after the pan. Also it would be preferrable to not use a method that would put effect a whole track. Any suggestions??
