Just thought I'd share my story for others...
Being a man of multimedia, I bought this controller (some may call it a toy) a couple of months back and had fun on my laptop with all that simple DJ'ing has to offer.

I'm on a video project at the moment and started experimenting with it as a controller with Vegas Pro. It's an ideal companion with a laptop.
I'm still trying combinations but currently I use...
Cue and Play/Pause as Transport.Pause and Play
Jog wheel A + B as TrackView.Cursorto.byPixel and TrackView.Cursorto.byFrame
I also have the -/+ buttons for zooming in/out and increasing/decreasing track height in the track view.
The browse pot selects tracks in track view, Load A + B is used to Load / Save a file and the Back button does an 'Undo'. All very handy!!

However this morning I realised I'd left the USB cable plugged in the side of it and it had had a knock. The USB socket was floating about inside!! AARRGGH!
Two of the circuit paths had actually stripped off of the board.
I spent a stressful 2 hours this afternoon and ended up soldering the USB wires direct into the controller finishing it with a gromit I salvaged from a Razr V3 car charger!!
It is working again!!! Phew!.....
