I haven't used midi fader control properly with v5 yet, but I seem to remember when I was trying it out before (around about the time of the v5 initial release) that lengthy pauses of midi input would require the user to 'wake up' vegas before it responded to midi again.

Having just updated to v5b it seems that midi input is always tracked. The only time you lose midi conrol is when adjusting a control directly in Vegas, at which point you have to 'latch' on to with the external MIDI controller to take control again.

Am I dreaming or is the above true? Is it new to the 'b' update? Just wondering.
