OK here's my deal and I dont know why this is happening (obvisously since im posting the question here :) )

Anyway, every so often i will compile and burn a CD. After burning the CD I will delete the .cdp file and all the .wav files etc that were used in creating the CD.

Then the next time i use CD Arch to compile a CD I go through all the same routines, (crossfading, reordering the song list and saving as a .cdp (different name than other .cpd's) along the way so as not to lose any info)

Then I burn my NEWly compiled CD only to find out it burned a previously saved session...always the previous one.

BUT i DELETED all the .wav files, .cdp. file and .skf files blah blah blah so where in the hell is it pulling this info from.

Ive lost quite a few CD this way and cant figure out what oriface CDA is finding this old session from. Is there a Cache somewhere I dont know about?

any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like it's burning an old image file. How or why is a mystery to me, but did you have a pre-rendered session end abnormally at one time (not deleting the image as it would normally when closing) ?

What happens if you pre-render the new file - that should overwrite any old image, and if the session ends normally, delete it...

Yea I have Pre-rendering selected when burning the CD and it says its prerendering during the process.

I have been able to overcome this by saving the .cdp as a .wav file and then burning the .wav to an audio Cd format but I never use to have to do this extra step. Just seems recently that it doesnt want to let go of teh previously burned image...and i dont know what file i can delete to clear this image cache
