Nice example how that can be used in an video. Well done!
@Wolfgang S. - Coming from you that’s praise enough. Yeah, I had to just now correct my naming of the FX from Z-Plane to Z-Depth. But thanks WS.
I especially like the way the background mostly keeps coherent, through the Wings and Feathers. I hope it wasn’t/isn’t lost on people that this “masking”, although dependant on the vagaries of the tonal Event, does allow for applying those other FXs.
@Grazie There's limited depth information I believe, possibly 256 depth 'layers' , not sure if it's 256 in the whole image or 256 between your depth in and out points. If it is 256 in the entire image it makes sense there's a lack of 'resolution' with the seagull.
@Former user - Thank you. Do you know what, I kinda like it, it makes the sequence organic and real. These happenstances can also make the creative process worthwhile. Arrows in Flight 😉.
Solutions? I could fudge a single frame/still. The obvious one is having better footage, not going to happen. Have better, finer tuning within this wonderful new Z-Depth FX to differentiate in a better way?
Thank you to the creators of the FX for making this NLE Workspace even more creative.
I have closely followed two explanations of using z-depth, and after clicking"compositing mode", "custom", and "z-depth", the compositing mode just stays the same on the text track and nothing happens. Any ideas?
