I was playing around with the varius effects in Vegas 4.0. I was using the mirror effect on a video for about five minutes. After that I went to start a new project with stills (jpegs). Vegas showed all newly imported stills very choppy and unusable. Vegas did not do this to old saved veg. files. I tried re-booting the computer, using the Vegas repair utility ect. None of this worked. I finally had to remove Vegas and do a complete re-install to correct this. Any ideas what happened? Should I stay away from some of these effects?
