I'm working on a video project in Vegas 5 that is basically a single video track. (Home movie transfer.) When I render the edited track to a DVD ready MPEG, the render proceeds normally, but when it finishes, I get an error message that says, in effect, that the file is missing and I should make sure it's actually there.

When I go to the hard drive where it was sent, there it is. When I click on it, it plays normally.

HUH???
